Wake Me Up on the Other Side of the Vacuum
Digidesign Protools. Propellerhead Reason 3.0.
Lyrics, Piano, Vocals: Jeffrey Simon.
Climb way out of my tunnel vision.
Find my head a place to rest.
Ignore my personal constitution.
Can I fall into forever sleep?
Literally procrastinate
Until I reach the next morning.
I realize I pay tuition.
Will I fall into forever sleep?
But it hurts too much to close my eyes.
That I can not sleep comes without surprise.
My muscles linger in a state of motion sickness.
My legs asleep and keeps me up all night.
Should I drown myself with drowsy liquids?
Will I make it up tomorrows to come?
Should I just stay up just one more night?
Can I make it without any more sun - light?
Can I saw off my leg?
Or is it true about what they said
about still feeling missing limbs
but not being able to move them?
But after about a minute and a half
of conscious thought and daydreams.
I realize its been a week and a half
and my sleep last night was amazing.
If that was forever sleep I want more.
If that was forever sleep
I think I'm dreaming of my long lost leg
that fell asleep before me.
If that was forever sleep I want more.
(repeat and fade)

Minus the slightly disturbing verse about sawing off your leg, nice work :)
Oh, and you wrote conscious, but said unconscious, whichever did you mean...
